Alabama High School Graduation Exam Review and Alabama Direct Assessment of Writing
Parents and students, Prepare for the Alabama High School Graduation Exam. Simply click on AHSGE Review under school instructional specialist. Then choose the presentation of the objective you wish to review. Each presentation reviews an objective that is tested on the Alabama High School Graduation Exam. Check back each week for additional reviews and test taking tips! Please feel free to contact me if you have further questions or need additional help! The spring administration of the AHSGE is over! The scores should be in sometime in April. Ninth and tenth grade students, it is NEVER too early to start preparing for the AHSGE. Make sure you use these reviews to prepare! Set the goal to pass all five parts of the exam the first time you take it! Free Social Studies AHSGE flash cards. If you would like a set of flash cards to help your student prepare for the Social Studies portion of the AHSGE, please e-mail me at JuTurner@dothan.k12.al.us. Students can also prepare for the Alabama Direct Assessment of Writing with review lessons. Click on ADAW review under school instructional specialist. Then click the lessons to review. Please look under articles for find a copy of our summer reading list. Parents, encourage your student to read OFTEN. It does not have to be a long book! A magazine counts as reading. Reading is just like anything else; a person only gets better with practice.
