The purpose of the Department of Maintenance Services is to provide a clean, safe, comfortable and healthy environment in our school facilities.  This is an important component of successful teaching and learning.  School facilities affect learning.  Evidence continues to grow supporting the idea that there is a correlation between the physical condition of a school building and student academic performance.  If students are more comfortable in the classroom, they are more likely to perform at a higher level.
